About Amanda Medina Coaching
Public Speaker and Coach
I’m Amanda Medina, a public speaker, coach, writer, and woman of faith who has learned that peace doesn’t come when the storm ends, but when we understand what’s happening inside us and learn to trust the One who carries us through it.
For much of my life, I relied on strength, control, and determination. I pushed through and kept showing up for everyone else, believing that if I just tried harder, I could hold it all together. Eventually, life brought me to a place where that wasn’t possible anymore.
It was there, in that breaking point, that I began to understand why peace had felt so hard to reach. Not because I lacked faith or effort, but because I was living in constant pressure, disconnected from what was actually happening inside me. As understanding grew, surrender followed.
And with it came a steadiness I had never known before.
That understanding became the foundation for everything I do today.
Through Amanda Medina Coaching, I support mothers who feel caught in the gap between who they want to be and how they show up under pressure. Women who love their kids deeply, yet feel overwhelmed, reactive, or weighed down by guilt they don’t fully understand.
My work isn’t about fixing behavior or striving for perfection. It’s about slowing things down, making sense of what’s happening, and creating space for peace that doesn’t depend on life getting easier.
My background includes formal coach training, but what most shapes my work is listening closely, honoring lived experience, and understanding how our stories, patterns, and beliefs play a part in everyday life.
Before launching my coaching practice, I founded This Adoptee Life, a blog and podcast dedicated to helping adoptees understand their experiences and find language for what they’ve lived. That work deeply informs how I show up today, with compassion, patience, and a deep respect for the ways identity and story shape how we move through the world.
All of this pours into my work as both a speaker and a coach.
On stage, I speak about finding steadiness in the midst of pressure and learning to trust God in real,
imperfect life.
In my coaching work, I walk alongside women as they slow things down, understand themselves more clearly, and learn how to respond from a steadier place.
When your life is built on understanding instead of pressure,
peace stops being something you chase.
It becomes the place you live from.
Courage, Love & Blessings, Always,
Amanda Medina
